Futurama has been on CC for a while, and I THOUGHT that there were going to be NEW episodes, not just the original ones...
If not, who started this damn myth?

The "new" episodes for Futurama are just the new Direct to DVDs movies cut up into a few episodes. The first four episodes all aired on March 23rd (Bender's Big Score Parts 1-4). The rest of the episodes/movies are supposed to air sometime after each of the new movies are released.
The Beast with a Billion Backs will be released on June 24th.
Bender's Game is scheduled for September.
Into the Wild Green Yonder is scheduled for April 2009.
Comedy Central has stated that they may create all new full seasons in the future depending on the success of the DVD movies.

I thought at first it would be new episodes too... But then I realized... Adult Swim got tired of showing Futurama and Comedy Central decided to buy it from them... But the network is the network responsible for the new movies coming out EG. "Bender's Big Score" and soon to come "The Beast With A Billion Backs"
