Are the fire/matchstick tricks that Barney Stinson (HIMYM) makes in the show possible? How do you do them?

If they are possible, I want to know how to do them.

Of course, if they are just camera tricks then fine.

You know... snap your fingers and sparks fly... of course the writing on the hand are obviously scripted...

Wave this piece of paper (handkerchief idk) around and then it bursts into flames...

Fling a matchstick with the right angle and you can send out a flying fireball... (although I think that was fake)

So are they possible? If they are, is there any video/tutorial/website that teaches you how to do them... or if you know how to do them, details would be much appreciated...

Neil Patrick Harris is a magician (and a member of the Magic Castle, I believe), so yes ... the tricks are real live magic.

They are not meant to be realistic, they are meant be funny, which they are.

I love HIMYM. I don't know if they would work in real life.
