I use to love watching it on TBS in the am before work. It's probably been a few years since it's been on TBS. But it doesn't seem to come on any tv channels in the US anymore.

Just because a TV series (Dawson's Creek in your case) isn't currently shown anywhere does not mean it is out of the syndication market.

Sony Pictures Television is still offering the series to anyone willing to pay for the rights to run it (when I last checked, a few local stations who bought the series while the TBS reruns were on were still playing it in limited areas).

it's possible that the series simply does not air in your area anymore

TBS is s National Cable channel.. so what ever deal they had for the Creek wasn't technically syndication...

Creek was originally on the WB.. the WB like TBS is owned by Time Warner (Warner Bros = WB)

Typically when a show is rerun on another network the deals are written as such to allow the series to be sold to as many markets as possible w/o having it fight itself for air time ie TBS was likely given the 'weekday mornings' window another network might have gotten week nights and a 3rd could have been given weekends

Syndication is where the show is sold into reruns to local affiliate for over the air broadcasts-- meaning that the CBS affiliate in PA might have Dawson's Creek on Saturday nights at 1030... while the CBS affiliate in OH could have Numbers in the same slot... and an NBC affiliate might have Dawson's Creek on immediately following SNL

in any case the show has been out of production for 8 years after it ran for 6 yrs and 128 episodes... if TBS ran 2 episodes a day, 5 days a week that is 10 episodes -- meaning the 128 would only last 13 weeks before the reruns started rerunning--- so every year the show is repeated 4 times in its entirety (and if TBS started rerunning it before the original episodes were done, the early seasons could have done so 5 or more times each year) -- but 4 times a year at even 7 years you are looking at 28 complete airings of show since it's ended

Dawson's Creek is one among those 'healthy' teenager 'dramas' the place no longer something happens for hours on end, and each and all of the youngsters have 'emotional disaster syndrome', and cry lots and locate out who their 'acquaintances' are earlier having a great number of intercourse and feeling responsible approximately it. that is absolute drivel, except you're an 8 - 12 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old lady.

Because it's a sad reminder of a time when Katie Holmes wasn't a robot.
