i just had to go through an ep of sex and the city with my GF and we had a big fight over something that happened in the ep. The guy was maybe leaving for France and the girl freaks out, and i was saying how that was complete bullshit coz the guy didn't know anything for sure, so if anything he was better off not telling her untill he knew for sure instead of putting her through something that maybe wasn't even gonna happen.. and when she wants to move to paris just for him? WTF is that about? do all women think like that?
Ten answers:
maybe, maybe not?

Your right the guy shouldn't have told her anything about Paris until he was definite. Carrie had been through so much with so many men she went off because of all she's been through. all women are different just like you men. Every situation is different

well - what you didnt see are the other 99999 episodes where you understand their relationship. Very commited. she loved him - so yes, she would move to be where ever he was.

Your GF just freaked out b/c I am sure that she is very attacched to the characters in the show and know how much Carrie loved Mr. Big. You being a male and only seeing a few episodes I can understand you position.

just a though

Listen, i am a woman & i believe that way to many women like drama in their lives. Sarah Jessica Parker moved to Paris to be with Alexander ( sp) and then moved back. She was crazy. But women like excitment . So, to answer your question, a lot of women think like that but not all. I'm not one.

sex and the city episodes always relates to women ingeneral ,and women who been in that situation. So not all women think the same. ofcourse not. also it all depends on the relationship and how long u been 2gether.

Absolutely not, especially if they have been together for such small amount of time like carrie had with alexander. However if she was with him a long time things may be different...

... But we are not all dimwits.

oh how lame-I wont even watch that show and if my husband did I would divorce him. I think it is time to come out of the closet, stop hiding behind a gf -your avatar also gives it away. -gay.
