Because it's accessible, easy to follow, and it doesn't talk down to its viewers. It's a show about family and friends and fitting in, and everyone relates to that.

I watch it. I think its different in the way its filmed and the way the background is staged. its a good old fashion kind of humor with some problems that include todays events, like being gay ,fashion and how betty being so "ugly" is being herself in this world and succeeding like the rest.

I like it because i find it funny. I think a lot of the characters are also easy to identify with. Also the guy who plays Daniel is fine =)
