Is Family Guy worth watching? ?

Question

I see some episodes that are funny but to me it's like a huge Simpsons ripoff... (I love The Simpsons :P)

And if it is worth watching, when will the next episode air? (Season 7 episode 7)

42.99 dollar on iTunes is a lot for one season... I may get it.. It's a copyof my favorite show but I like it xD

No, Family Guy is dumb. Everyone I know who watches that show I've at one time or another made a mental note about them that they are dumb.



If you're looking for something amazingly hilarious, I suggest the series Arrested Development or Ricky Jervais's Extras (he created The Office and this two-season British series about movie extras is hilarious and starts some big names, like Ben Stiller & Kate Winslet).



I dare say the Anna-Nicole show is more mentally stimulating than Family Guy. Or, if you're really bored you could get a lobotomy and it will be like watching Family Guy every second of the rest of your life.

I've got to be honest and tell you that I have never seen The Simpsons. Family Guy is one of the funniest and most sophisticated comedies on television, in my opinion. The many historical and cultural references can be beyond the mentality of some viewers. It's cartoon comedy at it's best, and Seth MacFarlane the creator and voice of several of the main characters is a master at voice characterizations. The best since the late great Mel Blanc in my opinion. Stewie the diabolical one year old is the breakout character, loved world wide, and voted into the top one hundred all time best villains in a Rolling Stone magazine survey. This anything can happen and usually does show is always full of funny gags. The baby pulls a machine gun out of "hamerspace" and pulverizes his nursery one minute and often breaks the "forth wall" and speaks directly to us the audience the next.

Look for at least 8 more episodes of Family guy this season with the last being the second STAR WARS parody called "Something Something Dark Side". New episode may start as early as Jan 11, but some schedules say the 18th.

If you love the simpsons then you will most likely at least like family guy. I wouldn't recommend buying it though until you have viewed it 1st, new episodes usually air on fox sunday nights following the Simpsons and American Dad

family guy is a really good show for adults and they say and joke about alot of the things that the simpsons dont, i have all the seasons 1-6 and i think season 7 is on thursday nights at 8 or 9 on fox.

Yes!! Definitely, Family Guy is not a rip off from The Simpsons, its like The Simpsons on crack! While it is build around the same concept, The humor and content is funnier and clever... and much more adult!

Family guy is a pretty funny show but sometimes its not at all but ill watch it but i still like King of the Hill better. but american dad is a ripoff of family guy but without the random clips and the random clips make family guy funny

well iv watched it before both and i don't really like it BUT hold on this dude in my class in gym said hey family guy is better because the Simpson's are yellow and they don't use the words like family guy do.but if i had to pick id go with Simpson's and yes i don't think this will help

Frankly i'm way uninterested in those kinda sitcom cartoons. on the initiating whilst they're new, they're lovable and humorous, yet they only worsen (and greater boring) as time is going on. I never watch any of those to any extent further. I used to observe Southpark lots, yet i've got lost activity now.

It is very funny. Anyone who says otherwise is simply overlooking the hilarious and frequent to various elements of pop culture, etc. Or, they are offended by the vulgarity at times.
